Happy May Day!
What Doth Life has released their 76th album today. “Solidarity” is a compilation of 32 local, indie artists singing songs about the state of our world today. Inspired by recent political events in our country and abroad, all proceeds from this album will be donated to the ACLU to help fight injustice. Songs appear from long standing artists such as the Pilgrims and Chodus as well as newer acts like Carseat and Bonji. This eclectic mix of music will have something for everyone while offering catharsis for these troubling times.
In addition to releasing on May Day, today was chosen because it is Bandcamp Friday. This means Bandcamp will waive all fees for purchases made today. This will allow us to donate the full purchase price to the ACLU. If people would like to avoid fees beyond today they may donate directly to the ACLU and email a receipt to info[(at)]whatdothlife.com to receive a download code for the album.
We hope audiences enjoy the album while putting just a little bit of good back in the world. Listen and download the album here: https://whatdothlifevt.bandcamp.com/album/solidarity-a-compilation-to-benefit-the-aclu
